Flooding of the Sakawagawa River (酒匂川) in Odawara (小田原市) on Sept 8, 2010, following Typhoon No 9.
Typhoon No. 9 blew through and dumped a huge amount of water on the area in a short period of time, causing the level of the Sakawagawa River to rise amazingly quickly. In several hours, the river was overflowing its banks at several points. Easily the highest level I have seen the river reach in 17 years.
These videos are of the river and the rescue of several people who had been living in a make shift home in the river basen. This rescue ended up being on the national news and was covered by NHK.
The last two in the playlist were taken several days after the typhoon for comparison, but the level of the river is still much higher than usual.

Auto Shop Replaces a FamilyMart
Bouquets of flowers are often placed in front of a new store to celebrate the opening. They are usually given by associated businesses.
In many areas, convenience stores are reaching saturation density. Thus the failure of this FamilyMart.
